Alyssa Bryant:

Alyssa J. Bryant graduated with distinction in 1987 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Upon graduation, she joined one of Tulsa's most prestigious law firms where was a partner. She now enjoys working as a solo attorney and is a frequent speaker on transgender topics. Alyssa planned and moderated the first full-length CLE approved by the Oklahoma Bar Association on "The Rapidly Evolving Field of Transgender Law." She has now conducted four seminars approved for continuing legal education credit for lawyers in Oklahoma and/or Kansas. She is a member of the board of directors of Oklahomans for Equality and the University of Central Oklahoma’s Women’s Research Center and BGLTQ+ Student Center.

Transgender Discrimination: Title VII, Title IX and the ADA

Is discrimination against a transgender person because they are transgender "sex discrimination?" Recent case law applying the Americans with Disability Act will also be discussed.
